Reiki

 

Reiki is a natural healing therapy that uses universal energy to gently balance life energy centres (also known as chakras) to bring health and wellbeing to the recipient

 

Reiki is applied through non-invasive gentle touch. The underlying philosophy is that if a person’s ‘life force energy’ is low, they are more likely to be unwell or stressed and conversly, prolonged illness or stress will deplete energy.  Reiki in itself does not cure illnesses or disease, but it may help your body to heal itself. Reiki can do no harm.

Reiki is not a religion – there is nothing you have to believe in to use or receive reiki. Reiki is not an ‘alternative’ therapy – it is a ‘complimentary’ therapy in that it works alongside other medical and therapeutic techniques.

This treatment is intended to promote deep relaxation and is helpful for people who are under stress, suffer from anxiety and have difficulty achieving a relaxed state. 


The treatment includes a relaxing back and head/neck and shoulder massage prior to a Reiki treatment.  Aromatherapy oils are used to soothe the nervous system and induce a state of serenity in the body.

Chakra Massage

Chakra massage uses a combination of gentle gentle massage techniques, Reiki, crystals and appropriate essential oils to assist enery shifts in the physical, emotional and spiritual  realms.

 

Deeply relaxing yet energising this massage can be used for purely relaxation purposes or to assist positive change.
